Children's Bible Opportunities

K5 & 1st Grade
Teachers: Janet Knight and Stacey Suggs
Janet and Stacey team-teach this class which is designed for K5 – 1st grade.  Children at this age are full of “why” questions and through Bible stories, pictures, and crafts, Janet and Stacey seek to answer those questions.

2nd Grade
Teacher: Mike Hosea
Mike thoroughly enjoys teaching this age because the children are making conclusions about God.  Mike shares Bible stories and does activities that help the children see Jesus as a friend and helper as well as helping them understand truth and honesty.

 

 

 

3rd Grade
Teachers: Steve and Maribel Todd
Steve and Maribel love to teach this age because it is at this age children are eager to learn and begin thinking of a need for a Savior.  Using Bible stories, music and games Steve and Maribel introduce Jesus as more than a friend, as their Savior and Lord.

 

 

 

4th Grade
Teachers: Sue Clyatt and Judy Maggart
Sue and Judy co-teach our 4th graders.  Working with children at this age when curiosity and creativity are at a peak Sue and Judy uses Bible stories and hands-on activities to teach about God.

 

5th Grade
Teachers: Gail Crowley and Margie Buddemeier
Gail  and Margie know how important it is to help children at this age develop in areas of imagination, creativity, and curiosity, helping them accept and work toward short-term goals, motivated by own interests, and getting ready for spiritual answers and direction.

 

 

 

6th Grade
Teachers: George & Glenda Piasecki
Glenda loves helping 6th graders understand the concepts of love and trust. She also loves this age because the children are approaching puberty-girls usually ahead of boys. George and Glenda realize their need for occasional periods of inactivity and for spiritual answers and direction.
