Welcome

Dear Friends,

        We want to thank you for the time that you are taking to learn more about First Baptist Church and its ministries, doctrines and goals.  We want to also give you a personal invitation to come and join a great small group where you can learn more about the Bible and how it applies to your life today while making great friendships as we journey through life together at 9:45.  At 10:45 we will worship together as a body and study the Bible and how it relates to our lives today.  A professional childcare service is provided to you for children ages 0-4years of age and an exciting time of children’s church will be available to any children ages  5-third grade (children participate in the first portion of worship and leave at the welcome time of the service if they wish to participate). 
We also want to give you a special invitation to our Wednesday night service and would be honored to have you as our guest for Wednesday night dinner.  It is a great place to have a  nice meal, meet some new friends and when you come the first time, we would like to treat you and your family to dinner to just say Welcome.  After dinner, we will have professional secure childcare for ages 0-3 and AWANA ministries for children ages 3 all the way to 6th Grade.  Our youth would love to welcome students from 7th-12 grades while our adults will study and meet together in the sanctuary.  All services begin at 6:30 pm (may take children to childcare 15 minutes early).
God is doing great things at First Baptist Riverview and while we are growing, there is plenty of room for you and your family to get involved, make life-long friendships, grow in your knowledge and relationship with God and use your own gifts and talents to make our church even stronger and healthier, impacting your own lives as well as the world around us.
We hope the website will be of great assistance to you.  It is organized into two major categories for your convenience as we want to assist you in any way possible.  In the visitors and newcomers section, you will find information and answers to many of the questions that first time visitors and/or newcomers ask.  You are also welcome to peruse the Members area as well.  It is not password protected and all are welcome, we just wanted to have a special place for our guests to make it as helpful as possible.  If you should have any further questions, do not hesitate to call us at 813-677-6377 or email us at fbcr@fbcriverview.org and we will assist you in any way possible.
We at First Baptist come from many different backgrounds.  We have people from different parts of the world, varied denominational and religious backgrounds and different vocations, yet we all come together to learn, grow, worship and fellowship as one body.  We know every person has something to contribute and we hope to see you and get to know you soon.  May God bless you richly.
