International Mission Board
The International Mission Board (formerly Foreign Mission Board) is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation's largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.
The board's main objective is presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to lead individuals to saving faith in Him and result in church-planting movements among all the peoples of the world. Almost 5,000 people groups - 1.6 billion people - still live with little or no access to the Gospel.

Awana
Our Awana missionary is Jim & Tara Lambeth.
Jim is originally from Kansas City, MO and has resided in Florida for over 30 years. He trusted Christ when he was ten years old after viewing the film “A Distant Thunder” which revealed what /files/Images/Awana/Jim Lambeth and family.jpgwould happen after the rapture and the Lord’s return. Tara is from Gray, TN and trusted Christ when she was eight years old at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray, TN. We met in the fall of 1991 at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN and were married in March of 1993. After graduation, we served in Awana as Sparks leaders and Jim served as commander for five years.
We received our calling in March of 2000. We were burdened of the Lord to serve with Awana wherever He would have us go whether it is in Florida or another country. The process took almost eighteen months and we were officially appointed as Awana Missionaries on July 1, 2001 to the South Florida region.
The first five years have been an amazing journey as we see what the Lord is doing at Awana Headquarters and around the world with the Awana ministry. We have seen substantial growth in South Florida and many young people make decisions for Christ. The Lord has blessed with health and safety as we travel and our children, Timothy and Kaitlyn are in their first year of T&T.

Kuwait Maids Mission
We support an on going missions project to the run away maids of Kuwiat.  These maids have found themselves away from their home country, battered and abused with no place for shelter except for the Filipino Embassy.  We support them by prayer and monthly offerings.  Mission trips to Kuwait are also planned for the near future.

Joshua Mack, South Africa
Joshua Mack along with his wife and four small children serve at an orphanage in South Africa.  The orphans that they work with have AIDS.  We support them by prayer and monthly offerings.

You can read more about what Joshua Mack is doing in South Africa by going to his blog at www.joshmack.blogspot.com/files/Images/Josh Mack and family.jpg
