What is Baptism?
Baptism is by immersion and occurs after you make a personal commitment to follow Jesus Christ. It's an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior; the believer’s death to sin; the burial of his old life; and his resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. Through baptism, the believer publicly professes his inward commitment to Christ by grace through faith in the presence of the gathered, local church. It's the next step after salvation.
