What do kids do at First Riverview?

We totally get it - your kids are kind of a big deal! Whether you're a first-time mom with a baby, a growing family with energetic kids, or a grandparent with your grandkids in tow, here are a few helpful things to know about our children's ministry:

We intentionally design our ministries with children's hearts, safety, and development in mind. We want church to be a great, Christ-centered experience for both you and your kids. PreView and KidsView, as we call them, are environments designed to do just that!
While you're in LifeGroup or worship, you can rest assured your kiddos are enjoying fun experiences, rooted in the truth of God's Word. We want your kids to come to know Jesus in a place where they feel safe, loved, and known.
PreView is designed for babies-K5, and KidsView is designed for 1st-5th grade. We would love to see you and your family visit PreView and KidsView at our campus this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

What are PreView and KidsView?

LifeGroups

We have LifeGroups for kids, just like the adults! Kid's LifeGroups meet at 9:15 AM on Sundays and use a fun and interactive curriculum to help kids encounter Christ at an age-appropriate level. Kid's LifeGroups are separated by age:

1st Grade
2nd Grade
3rd-4th Grade
5th Grade

PreView Park Nursery

Whether you have a bouncing bundle of joy or a lively tyke, our loving nursery workers are excited to care for your kids (infants-Kindergarten). Themed with different animals and nature settings, PreView is a super clean, fun, safe and welcoming environment for your kiddos! PreView Park also includes a Mother's Room with private nursing nooks and changing tables.

KidsView Worship

Our kids enjoy an awesome worship experience (1st-5th grade) on Sundays at 11:00 AM in the Student Loft! We emphasize scripture and the good news about Christ through worship, teaching, small groups, and activities. Each week, we will discover a key truth from the Bible, as we work through Biblical stories from Genesis to Revelation. All ages are separated during their small group times.

Awana is a ministry geared to children age 3*-5th grade, with Scripture memorization as the primary goal. Every club meeting provides a start-to-finish adventure! Clubbers play games, learn a lesson, and, most importantly, hide God's Word in their hearts. If your child comes once, he or she will want to come again and again! Awana meets every Wednesday 6:30 PM-7:30 PM during the school year. Learn more!

KidsView Camp

KidsView Summer Adventure is a highlight of the summer for our kids! For 5 days - July 6-10, kids (completing K5-5th grade this school year) are invited to participate in Bible studies, play games, and worship together. Our prayer is that your kids will have a life-changing encounter with Christ through an amazing week!

Follow the welcome signs and bring your kids to our main worship center
Look for the counter designated for KidsView and PreView Check-In on the left just inside the main doors
Introduce yourself to our staff, and we'll help get your kids checked in to our security system and answer any questions
Finally, join one of our volunteers as we help you get your children settled in their age-appropriate rooms

Please know your child’s safety is our first priority. All PreView and KidsView workers are carefully screened and background-checked. We employ many security measures to ensure your child's safety, including a security tag system for check-in and pick-up. Click here for more information.
