WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES CANCELED with the approach of Hurricane Idalia.
Out of deep concern for spiritual health and community, the Apostle John wrote to the churches of Asia, likely to some or all of the seven churches of Revelation 2-3. He wrote that his joy might be made full by the knowledge that they were walking according to their newfound faith in Christ, the Word of Life (1:1). The book is an exhortation to these young believers, who were being influenced by false teachers, the “antichrists” of their day. He reminds them of the instruction of Christ from the beginning to walk in the light, for God is light (1:5), and to walk in love, for God is love (3:11; 4:7). Such a life proves the authenticity of our faith—"that you may know that you have eternal life” (5:13).

Through this series, we will receive John’s exhortation for ourselves and be challenged to live in light of our faith in Christ, who is the Word incarnate. We will challenge ourselves to consider where faith meets life, seeking by God’s grace to live worthy of the One who offers us eternal life in His Name.

Join us as we allow God's Word to shape our thinking and transform the way we do life together.

Watch Where Faith Meets Life starting Sunday, February 1st.
